A Shakespearian View of Sarah Palin from "Julius Ceaser"

She had a fever when she was on the campaign trail,

And when the loss was apparent to her, I did mark

How covetous lips from “going rogue” did fly,

And that same eye whose wink doth awe

The southern Republican male voters

Did lose it’s luster; I did hear her speak and heard the groans;

Ay, and that tongue of hers, that bade the reporters,

Mark her gaffs and write her speeches in their blogs,

Alas! She now cries, “Give them to repudiate, peaceful Muslims,”

Oh, stupid girl.

Ye gods, it doth amaze me,

A woman of such a feeble mind and manner should

So get such an auspicious start of the political world,

And bring it down upon herself alone.

(Act I, Scene II, L 119-131)
